This very original 916 SP3 has come from a European collection of both modern and classic road and racing machines. The previous owner was a prominent figure in the historic motor racing scene and purchased this bike new from Ducati agents Moto Mondiale in Germany. Having only covered 10,815 Km ( 6,720 miles ) the bike had been in storage since 2008 following its last service when it was showing 10,794 Km. Now UK registered with an MoT until may 2017 it has recently received a new battery and full check over however technically another service is due on only the time now elapsed.
Generally the bike is very clean, there is a mark on the top of the fuel tank that has been touched in and the right side of the fairing does have a scratch, however the bike remains in very good overall condition with virtually no corrosion to the engine or other components.
Supplied with a small history file, all the books and the UK V5C logbook this superb example is No.041 of the 497 bikes produced.
